Ian’s parents gave us so many peaches from their peach tree this week! We have a box full of them in our fridge, so it’s a good thing I’m on a peach kick right now.
One always gets away from me!
My basil has been growing very well this summer! But I don’t know how to cook anything with it. Last week I went to the library to check out a herb cook book, and found a wonderful recipe for basil gnocchi! It was so tasty that I didn’t eat it with any sauce.

Make sure your knife doesn’t go too deep! The peels aren’t very thick.
I tried this a few years ago without using a knife, and it was much harder (and uglier).
